I’m just obsessed.
”Engine 45 is about addiction and about how pretty much everyone in the world knows or has been in contact with someone or has a family member who struggled with an addiction. It’s one of the most destructive things to a human being and engine 45 is metaphorical a free train that is addiction and how it can come so fast and come so hard that it can knock you of the tracks. I wrote this song because sometimes all it takes for someone is someone to say something. All it takes for someone is to believe in themselves that they can break the chains of addiction. I’m talking about any kind of addiction, not necessarily drugs or gambling, you know there’s all kinds of addictions around the world. It’s not just gonna stop, its not just gonna go away. You have to kinda put yourself together and break the chains of addiction and that’s what engine 45 is about.”
